We are working closely with a licensed, Hague and Russia-accredited agency to seek families for these beautiful children. This is a great program with easy travel and very accommodating, especially for single mothers! These children are located in a major city, with no cross-country travel to remote regions required. Allen was born with an ASD. He is farsighted with a strong degree of astigmatism, so he will need glasses!

Martin is a beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed boy with Down syndrome. He has an astigmatism and an umbilical hernia (common in children with DS). We are thrilled to have more new photos of him, and they show what an active, social, imaginative and capable little boy he is!! He is growing well, has good color, and does not seem to be adversely affected by any oxygenation issues.

Martin was blessed to be transferred to an older child orphanage instead of the institution, so we are so grateful that he has been given an extended opportunity to find his forever family!!

Martin needs to get home to a family who can provide him with surgery to correct his heart condition. Please consider Martin for your son! He is described as a cheerful and playful boy!

UPDATE, June 2010! Congenital heart disease - Tetralogy of Fallot is not present any more in his diagnosis as on February 10, 2009 he underwent a cardiologic surgery. There is no heart condition! He is just being observed by cardiologist once a year.

He lived with his family for nearly a year before he was removed from the home and placed in the orphanage. He does have a functional systolic murmur and is slightly farsighted. He is able to walk and participate with the group, but prefers to play by himself. He needs a loving family who can help him heal from the loss he has suffered at home, and learn to love, BE loved, and enjoy life again. He is blessed to still be at the baby house.

Angelina is the very best friend of Elizabeth, listed below. And although they can't be adopted together into the same family, what a blessing it might be to find adoptive families who live close enough to maintain their friendship!

Angelina is diagnosed with: Down syndrome, moderate mental deficiency; congenital myopia of high degree with astigmatism, amblyopia of high degree, retinal angiopathy; dermatitis; allergic rhinitis; adenoids; liquefaction of the 1^st degree; additional chord of the left ventricle of heart, but there is no heart disease.

Though Angelina doesn�t talk much � only some separate words, she is a sociable child. She interacts with adults and other children, and has one close friend Elizaveta whom she spends most of the time. When Elizaveta was taken to hospital Angelina missed her much.

Judging by Angelina�s face expression, and her behavior reactions she understands adults� speech adequately. She can fulfill caregivers� directions. She likes to play plot games (especially with baby dolls and hairdresser set) and she also likes meccano, and coloring books. Angelina can wash her face, hands and get dressed without anyone�s help. She eats with a spoon and drinks from a cup. She has a VERY good appetite and sleeps well. She is potty (toilet) trained.
