Varsha

Born October 4, 2002

"My name means RAIN"

Little Varsha is one of the prettiest little girls you will ever see!  She is almost 5 years old and unfortunately, has had at least 2 adoptions fall through for various reasons.  We are anxiously seeking a family to adopt her quickly.  Varsha does not have a heart condition.  She is a healthy, happy little girl.  She goes to Manovikas special school in the morning hours daily. She is getting trained in daily living activities and speech stimulation. She carries a small bag on her back as she goes to school.  (Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww) Varsha recognizes people. She is affectionate. She is friendly to men and women. She shows more attraction towards men.  She sometimes knows how to get away with people by not doing what she needs to do. She is also manipulative sometimes.   (Little stinker knows how to "work you").  She knows how to express her excitements and sad feelings. 3yr old Krittika is her playmate. Varsha can clap her hands in rhythm for a song and she enjoys doing it. She also knows how to ask someone to sing for her through her action. She sings along saying Varsha.........Varsha.......Varsha.   She loves to beat her plastic drum. She is able to walk well.  She helps in dressing and wearing shoes. She uses the potty.  Hardly she indicates her toilet needs. She plays with other children and also alone.  At times when she is left alone, she sits without doing anything. She is able to feed herself with a spoon very well. Her speech has not developed much. She maintains a very good health.

Varsha is going to be a blessing to any family who is able to adopt her.   She is clearly doing well in a "family" setting, loves school, and will be able to adjust quickly to her new adoptive family.  There should be no more than 95 years combined in age and neither spouse can be over the
age of 48.   Varsha should be the youngest child in their home if possible.  Both parents should travel, total time about 7-10 days.

I have an $8000 grant from my agency!

Total cost for this adoption, with all current grants and including travel, is under $10,000.

Please contact Tami Davidson at Dillon International for more information.

I have $5000 in my grant fund towards the cost of my adoption!

She walks  without  support  for a couple of steps. She sits and stands without support. She is able to identify her care givers and understands what is spoken to her. She says a few words like ‘Tata” (grandfather) ‘Amma” (mom)  etc. She observes what happens around her and plays with toys of her choice. She climbs the steps and moves  around merrily. She is very attached to her foster mother and sister. When they go out she cries and wants to go out  with them.
