Aaron Boy, 1 year old Eastern Europe Aaron is a darling little boy of Asian descent who is living in Eastern Europe. He was born with an open oval window (heart condition) which will need to be followed by a cardiologist once home. He was abandoned at birth, and is waiting for a family to call his own! He is developing well and a very happy and active child! Only one trip of about 9 days for both parents. No age or family size restrictions. Approx TOTAL cost is $33k. Olive Girl, Born April 5, 2006 Oh, what a beauty of a little girl! Olive is super cute, with dark hair and dark eyes. She is relatively low functioning at this time, and is still not able to sit up on her own, or crawl. She is very much still a baby, but has so much potential! From our facilitator:
" Admitted to the orphanage at the age of 8months 7 days.
She was the 5th child from the fifth uncontrolled pregnancy. The
birth was term, in the maternity home. AS was 9/10. She was
born with Atrial Septal Defect, with moderate blood flow from the left
atrium through the hole into the right side. She is under regular
control of the cardiologist, but doesn't require any medications.
The next checkup is due in December 2008. She has
syderopenic anemia and is receiving iron therapy. Also is small
for her age. She is 2yrs 7months old. Height 76.5cm,weight 6.120kg.
Her parents are mentally delayed. Olive has 4 siblings, two of
them are healthy the other two are developmentally delayed. She is
a very darling girl, but is significantly developmentally delayed.
She is smiling, has eye to eye contact, still is not sitting without
support, not crawling yet. Respiratory infections occur often. She
is very cute and we love this girl."

This is a very easy program, and we could get many children with Down syndrome out of this country with minimal costs and easy travel requirements. Jamie Boy, Born April 15, 2003 Little Jamie has been waiting a long time for his family. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He is HEALTHY, outside of being allergic to dairy products. He is considered lower functioning, but has so much potential in a loving, family environment. Full medical info available.

Kelly Girl, Born 2005 Kelly is such a cutie! She has brown hair and brown eyes, and is HEALTHY. She does have some strabismus, which can be corrected with surgery. She is walking and very active.
Bethany has been active in the country of Albania since 1991 when we began working with the Government prior to the democratic elections. One of the early activities was our work to assist the government in establishing a school of social work at the University of Tirana. Within a few years, hundreds of social workers graduated from the programs and were integrated into the community. In addition, Bethany built homes for orphaned and abandoned children on a campus outside the capital. We now have additional buildings including a conference/training center with lodging facilities. Our director is Dr. Agim Xhumari, who oversees a staff of more than 60 social workers, psychologists, doctors, nurses, teachers, and support staff in both countries. Maria Girl, Born April 30, 2006 Little Maria is so beautiful! Her giant brown eyes and dark brown hair are irresistible! Maria just turned 2 years old, and is free and clear for international adoption. Maria was born with an ASD II, but it seems it has closed up on it's own. She has monitored by a cardiologist, but it not on any medications and is doing wonderfully! She was born with a hemangioma on her lower lip, so she will need to see an ENT and a plastic surgeon to remove it (if you so choose). Now she is just waiting for YOU! Full medical info available.

Nadja Girl, Born December 1, 2007 Oh, what a beauty of a little girl! Nadja has dark hair and brown eyes. She has Down syndrome, but was also born with a cleft palate. She has had surgery for this! (Tennison cheiloplasty of the left side) She will need to have a 2nd surgery for full correction when she gets home. She also has sideropenic anemia, but is being treated with iron pills and is doing well. She does have eating problems because of her cleft palate, so she will need help with that. She has respiratory infections a good bit too, but proper medical care can go a long way for this little one! She has older sisters, but her family just can't accept her delays and other issues :( They would very much like to have a family who might keep in touch periodically with pictures and updates about her. This is a wonderful outreach opportunity!

Brandon Boy, Born April 17, 2003 Eastern Europe What a handsome, darling little boy!! This little munchkin was the result of his parents trying for a child for 15 years....what a blessing he is, but how devastated they must have been. :(( He has been waiting a long time, but has been in the orphanage since he was less than a month old. He is very active, happy, and relatively high functioning. Brandon does have a mitral valve defect, but has not required any oxygen or medication for it at all. Please give this little one the opportunity to achieve all he is meant to!!

Maja Girl, Born June 5, 2005 Maja is a precious little girl with blonde hair. She is 2 1/2 years old. She was born premature at 35 weeks with a VSD and an ASD. Her VSD was closed, and at this time, her ASD has a shunt. She is doing very well. Maja was brought to the orphanage when she was only 1 month old. However, she is doing great. She does not require any heart medication. She eats well, sits and crawls independently, and is getting ready to walk on her own. She will be such a blessing to any family!

Hannah Girl, Born April 2004 Beautiful, healthy little girl with brown hair and big brown eyes! We are so blessed to finally have some children referred from this country. Country fees have been reduced by $14k and income requirements reduced as well!! Orphanage care is outstanding in comparison to other countries. The children are very well loved and cared for here. But it is still never the same as having a loving family of their own, and the advantages of being raised in the United States. Please consider any of these angels for your own family!
