Angel Siblings

Although it is often a harder adjustment to adopt more than one child at the same time, siblings are really special, and it is such a blessing any time a sibling group can remain together!!

Unlike several of our other "group" grant funds which are made for the first child adopted from that page, each of these "Other Angels"  does still retain their own grant account.  PLEASE designate which child you are sponsoring in your Paypal donation.

PLEASE HELP OUR MINISTRY by including the extra cost of  Paypal's fees!

You are also invited to send a check (no Paypal fees) to  Reece's Rainbow, PO Box 4024, Gaithersburg, MD  20885

TWINS!

Sandra & Slavka

Girls, Born February 27, 2003

Sandra and Slavka are twin little girls in Eastern Europe.   They both have brown hair and giant brown soulful eyes.  Aren't they beautiful?   They were born with West SyndromeThe girls have not had a seizure in well over 3 years and both have been off all medication for some time. They are both completely healthy with no medical concerns. Both girls are attending a special needs preschool and are doing well in this environment. The caregivers believe that both girls would adapt and progress well in a family environment.
UPDATE on the girls:
Slavka  is a very happy & curious child. She loves to interact with others and will mimic the actions of the caregivers. She loves music, enjoys cleaning up the toys and helping to take care of younger children. She feeds & dresses herself independently, loves bath time and is almost completely potty trained.  She participates in pretend play (will dress, bathe and take care of her baby doll).  She understands everything that is said to her and is able to follow verbal directions but she does not yet talk. Speech is her greatest area of delay. She currently only uses basic syllables.
Sandra is developing slower than her twin sister. She can feed herself independently, is dressing herself but still needs some assistance with her shoes, understands the routine and expectations (can find her place at the table and things like that). She is in the beginning stages of toilet training. She does demonstrate some signs of having sensory needs (taps objects to her mouth, enjoys tapping objects on the table). She often focuses on objects and can be moody at times (go from happy to sad quickly). Speech is her greatest delay. She makes some sounds, but has no words or approximations.

There is no "court"...only a beautiful "adoption ceremony".  Orphanage donations are not required.   Short, simple dossier, very short wait for travel once your dossier is submitted.  This is a very easy program, and we could get many children with Down syndrome out of this country with minimal costs and easy travel requirements.

Wehave $45  in our grant fund towards the cost of our adoption!

Max and Lena

Twins, Born May 17, 2008

These beautiful toddlers are HIV positive.   They are medically healthy outside of this.  Both children show some facial features of FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome), but this is not documented, only a cautionary disclosure.   They are both walking and doing well developmentally so far.   They have sweet personalities.

    Karen and Kristie
    Girls, Born 1998 and 2001
SIGNIFICANT RISK, PLEASE ADOPT ME SOON!!
Karen and Kristie are two beautiful dark haired girls who are needing a family.   PHOTOS COMING, PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON.

Karen is 11 and Kristie is 8.   Karen is a typically developing child...beautiful, smart, and healthy.  Kristie was born with Klippel Feil syndrome, has kyphosis and 6 of her vertebrates are fused together.   Despite this, she is completely mobile and totally functional/self sufficient.  She is also of typical development cognitively.  Karen and Kristie live in the same orphanage and are very close.   We are seeking a family interested in adopting older children, who love and appreciate both of these girls for their own unique gifts, and give them the life they so deserve!
