 Angels with HIV

HIV is a virus that claims so many innocent lives. Children are born into the world by mothers who are carriers and that child is often condemned to be affected by the virus throughout their own life as well.   New laws in the US allow for these children to be adopted and brought here by loving American families, who can help them with medications and give them the life they deserve to live, instead of being hidden away in isolated HIV orphanages and institutions abroad.

*** For the older children, not only will they live with the social stigma of being an orphan once they "age out" of the system, living on the streets and in sewers, but they will never be able to get a job to sustain themselves because of their condition.***
 
All of these children are generally "healthy", with no other diagnosed special needs (unless otherwise noted in their profiles). 
  1. They are typically developing cognitively and physically, but have the HIV virus.
  2. All of these children are currently taking anti-viral medications, and as RNA counts change often, this info can be obtained closer to your time of committing to adopt.
